Vicente Fernandez can almost always be found doing something sports- or media-related. He is the co-founder and chief content officer of SportsManias, a real-time team news source for diehard sports fans. Launched in 2012, SportsManias currently attracts over 3 million unique monthly visitors.
A recent graduate of the University of Chicago, Vicente launched various entrepreneurial ventures while in school, including Maroon TV, the university’s first student-run television station. He also served as the sports editor for the Chicago Maroon, played varsity football, shadowed the executive producer on the Lionsgate film Divergent, and directed the short documentary Post-Game.
Vicente has been named to the Sports Launch 30 Under 30, was recognized as a Club Leader of the Future by Latino Leaders Magazine, and was invited to the White House as an Emerging Global Entrepreneur. He resides in Miami, FL and can be found at Miami Hurricanes football games on Saturdays.
